Salary: £61,110

What you’ll be doing:

  • Competent Quality executive responsible for leading and managing a team of quality professionals in flight line area with Part 145 oversight to maintain business compliance
  • Responsible for all aspects of flight line clearances, BMAR, CAT C, customer interface, regulatory interface, customer interface and product acceptance
  • Defines team operating standards and ensures quality management system, processes and procedures are followed to meet business performance measures
  • Provides leadership, management and support to business and quality professionals
  • Responsible for effective management of non-conformance and deployment of effective RCCA

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Previous experience and knowledge of flying environments, part 145 regulatory requirements, quality certification standards and product safety

  • Extensive knowledge and application of Quality Assurance and Quality Inspection processes

  • Knowledge of and experience of product safety and the relating product safety framework and education of others

  • The ability to lead and influence cross functional teams when undertaking Continuous Improvement activities

The Typhoon Warton Ops Quality Team:

The team at Warton are responsible for all aspects of flight and ground running certification, product certification and product dispatch. This includes supporting multiple customers and networking with a cross functional team to achieve complex objectives. The team and the role offer a unique and dynamic opportunity for someone to be at the cutting edge of aircraft manufacture and flying, along with opportunities to meet new people and visit new places. The team also manage all aspects of non-conformance with a heavy focus on correction and utilising industry standard approaches to problem solving and prevention.
