Essential criteria

  • Must hold teaching qualification at a minimum of level 5 e.g PGCE
  • Must hold an assessors award D32/33, A1, CAVA
  • Maths & English qualifications at a minimum of L2 (Functional skills L2, GCSE c/4 or above) or equivalent experience
  • Must hold a quality assessment award (IQA) e.g. D34, V1, TAQA
  • Must have experience in a quality role
  • Must have experience of leading on quality assurance visits
  • Must have experience of OFSTED inspections
  • Ability to demonstrate professional standards at all times
  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience

Desirable criteria

  • 2 years experience within a quality role
  • Proficient in IT systems
  • Experience in mentoring new staff
  • Qualification in safeguarding

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
