Job Description
Reporting to the UK Head of Performance Management the role holder is responsible for the ongoing management of the Business Management System and industry specific certifications for the Transportation business line. The role will also include providing support to the UK Performance Manager to ensure that the UK IMS policies and processes are aligned to regulations and standards across all UK entities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Egis Transport Solutions:
- Own and manage the Business Management System documentation for Egis Transport Solutions (ETS) to ensure compliance with both Industry specific certifications and Egis UK certifications.
- Monitor and manage ETS legislation register to ensure compliance with UK and Industry specific legislation.
- Maintain the internal Compliance system, logging actions & non-conformances, working closely with ETS management to ensure these are closed out.
- Ensure the audit schedule in the Compliance system is adhered to, completing audits personally and monitoring completion of those under the responsibility of others.
- Work closely with the UK Head of Health & Safety and key managers within ETS to prepare evidence for and execute Rail Industry audits.
- Collate Health & Safety related data to feed into working groups and use for reporting at H&S briefings.
- Manage the requirements of Sentinel, including fatigue management, ensuring compliance to RISQS protocols.
- Complete internal audits for ETS to ensure compliance with ETS's own processes and UK processes
- Support the IT manager in the management of ETS SharePoint and related ISO 27001 requirements.
- Coordinate training requirements for ETS staff (in particular Sentinel, H&S and Office related) booking courses and monitoring expiries.
Egis UK:
- Support the Head of Performance Management in completion of the audit schedule across all certified UK entities.
- Deputise for the Head of Performance management in their absence at Group Performance and UK Management meetings.
- Assist with completing updates to, and creation of, policies and procedures in the UK IMS.
- Provide support and guidance to certified UK entities regarding the UK IMS integration and evolution.
- Assist with the monitoring and management of the UK legislation register to ensure compliance with UK and Industry specific legislation.
- Support with the maintenance of the UK Compliance system, logging actions & non-conformances, working closely with management to ensure these are closed out.
- Assist with the management of UK subscriptions and certifications.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the UK Support Services functions to identify areas of continual improvement for the IMS.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management & internal auditing (essential)
- 9001 Internal Auditor qualification (preferred)
- Understanding of H&S regulation (essential)
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships (essential)
- Strong organisation and administrative skills (essential)
