Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Scotstoun, Glasgow. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £37,000 to £39,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertaking Audits and Quality Investigations within the Naval Ships business and programmes.
  • Liaising with third party auditors such as Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and customer
  • Driving closure and measure effectiveness of root cause, corrective action and improvements
  • Conducting quality investigations using root cause tools and corrective action methodologies
  • Supporting exciting programmes with the quality and assurance
  • Stakeholder engagement at all levels of the business – this role will have exposure and an opportunity to engage all areas of the business to make a huge positive impact

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Recognised formal Internal Auditor training.
  • Experience with conducting internal audits and quality investigations.
  • Understanding of ISO9001 procedures

Desirable:

  • Ship Build / Manufacturing background is desirable
  • Ability to understand and interpret data
