Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Warton
Salary: £41,361 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Assuring the business and its customers that suppliers/OEM’s are able to consistently demonstrate compliance to the specific requirements relating to the capability insertion of products, services and processes
- Visiting suppliers in the UK and abroad including KSA to conduct/co-ordinate/support process confirmations, audits and support other functional engagements with suppliers
- Collaborating with a range of external stakeholders and internal stakeholders across business functions, including Procurement, Engineering, and through-life operations
- Responsibility for concisely reporting the outputs of Industrialisation Quality Assurance activities
- Effectively deploying, managing, and administering departmental policies and processes
Your skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of quality requirements for aerospace and defence contracts (e.g. EN9100, Defence Regulations/Standards)
- Audit trained and experienced
- A good communicator with a good level of presentation experience, and the ability to exchange information clearly at multiple levels internally and externally
- Good IT literacy, especially with Microsoft applications
- Ability to adapt, be flexible and to work within a dynamic, changing environment
- The ability to persuade and influence a variety of stakeholder groups

The Industrialisation Collaboration Quality team:
As a part of the team, you will provide vital support for industrialisation activities within the supply chain team, working collaboratively to develop other sites on an international scale. Our expertise in quality assurance, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement contributes to the successful implementation of production processes and the establishment of high-quality standards across multiple locations.
