As a Quality Development (Nutrition) Officer, you'll be part of the Quality Assurance Department in an exciting time of rapid expansion for Lidl. The team have continued to pride themselves on not only meeting, but exceeding the expectations of every customer, through providing products of the highest possible quality across our stores.
As part of the team, you will ensure the quality and safety of all Lidl GB's own brand products, through a structured programme of testing, auditing, and compliance.

What you'll do
- Maintenance and analysis of the team's nutritional database
- Continuous improvement and development of products to meet internal and external targets.
- Working regularly with Buyers and Suppliers to drive quality developments, ensuring we are offering the best possible quality to our customers.
- Generating monthly reports
- Using key result data for product reviews
What you'll need
- Food Industry related experience or educated to a degree level in a food related discipline.
- Understanding of the theoretical and practical application of nutrition
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Highly focused critical thinker with an uncompromising eye for detail
- A motivated and proactive team player, with a can-do attitude, who is also capable of working independently.
- A confident communicator, able to manage entrusted tasks and direct exposure to internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Comprehensive Excel skills and experience of working with other Microsoft Office software.
- Full UK Driving Licence desirable
