Position

We are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager - Care to join our team based at Henshaws Specialist College in Harrogate. The successful candidate will work within the care team working with young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.

The Quality Assurance Lead plays a critical role in upholding the highest standards of care, ultimately ensuring the well-being of our students. The role is to ensure that our service consistently meets and exceeds regulatory requirements, industry standards and student's expectations. This position is responsible for continually developing a robust quality assurance cycle, implementing and overseeing quality assurance processes and initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.

Salary: £19.73 per hour/£26505.28 per annum

Hours per week: 30

Weeks per year: 38

Holiday weeks: 6.78

Requirements

Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to analyse and interpret data, identify trends and drive quality improvement.

Proven experience in quality assurance, risk management or similar role within the health care or social care sector.

Good understanding of the different regulatory requirements involved in the care setting e.g CQC, H&S, IPC etc.

NVQ 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe or equivalent.
