  • Support the Senior Qualitative Insights and Engagement Manager to implement ICHP's overall strategic approach to qualitative insights and engagement in line with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day planning and delivery of a high-quality qualitative insights and engagement programme.
  • Support the delivery of our growing deliberation and engagement portfolio, through interviews, workshop planning and stimulus design.
  • Independently lead on planning and delivering qualitative activities to support member as well as client-facing work. For example, depth interviews and focus groups with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Collate findings from qualitative activities and synthesise these to create accessible and actionable insights.
  • Working closely with colleagues across ICHP to ensure an aligned approach to projects.
  • Sharing subject matter expertise with colleagues through leading internal teaching sessions and regularly acting as an expert advisor for colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with professional bodies and networks, charities, advocacy groups, patient and public networks and leads across North West London and elsewhere.
  • Represent ICHP in regional and national engagement and involvement networks as necessary.
  • Use project management skills to ensure we deliver tangible outcomes and use a variety of methodologies to measure them.
  • Ensure client work is co-ordinated with other parts of ICHP to provide a seamless, integrated experience.

  • Ability to design and deliver creative and engaging workshop content/activities
  • Confident facilitator
  • Knowledge of engagement and involvement methodologies (or social research methodologies) and experience of putting these into practice
  • Confidence coaching others around how to embed engagement into their project plans
  • Evidence of planning and delivering projects, initiatives or services, some of which might be multi-stranded on time

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
