The Role
The Senior Pursuit Manager role within the Merkle UK Growth team is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate the pre-sales strategy for the global launch of a ground-breaking product with one of our leading client brands. This position requires strategic oversight, innovative thinking, and exceptional organisational skills to ensure the seamless delivery of high-impact sales activities across a global network.
- Develop and manage a detailed project plan and work schedule that encompasses all commercial team activities, ensuring alignment with the overall programme timeline.
- Oversee commercial team collaboration with marketing and digital team
- Track the global sales plan, monitoring in-market activities across 50+ markets, identifying risks and gaps
- Maintain a RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for all commercial team activities to enable proactive issue management.
- Coordinate activities with PMO peers across other workstreams, managing dependencies and resolving issues efficiently
- Participate in programme management updates and planning sessions, ensuring colleagues are informed about commercial team activities and priorities.
Requirements
- Strong experience working in a similar new business or pursuit management environment
- Strategic thinker with a meticulous approach to project management and process governance
- Strong collaborator capable of managing multiple workstreams across diverse teams and geographies
- Proactive problem-solver with an eye for identifying risks, managing dependencies, and driving issue resolution effectively
- Exceptional organisational skills to balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines
