Driving innovation in design for complex/super complex Pursuits. This will include supporting the development of a Pursuit Design Framework, providing strategic direction on Renewal Pursuit Strategies and acting as a core member of assigned complex/super complex Pursuit Team, working alongside senior stakeholders and providing recommendations on innovation in design from pre-engagement through to conversion. In addition, providing graphic design support as part of the Creative Studio Team by producing visually compelling branded content. This can include PPT slideware, case studies, digital & typeset artworks across primarily high complex/high visibility projects for the Bid team, with additional support offered on an ad-hoc basis across the business.

Key Accountabilities:

Things you will do:

Strategic Pursuit Design

  • Driving innovation in design for Complex / Super Complex Pursuits, developing a Pursuit Design Framework; Designing pursuit plan strategies
  • Provide strategic direction with the Global Bid Director on Renewal Pursuit Strategies
  • Bespoke RFP/Presentation templates; digital concepts; infographics, video; collateral – providing the WOW
  • Responsible for a Pursuit Design Innovation Roadmap with new products & tools with clear business / use cases in partnership with the Creative Studio Manager
  • Continually assess the market for new & emerging vendors and products in AI, AR/VR – assessing quality, value & innovation
  • Present to the Global Bid Director & Creative Studio Manager on a quarterly basis
  • Once into PoCs, present to the wider Global Bid & Design Team with use cases and provide training to the global Sales Leads on the Roadmap & PoCs
  • Support Global Bid Director & Creative Studio Manager in annual budgeting for Roadmap items

Digital Design Support

  • Design & elevate Highspot SmartPages sharing client content with high quality UX experience and design-forward thinking
  • Visualise new products & sales collateral (eg. AMS One, Early Careers) considering digital, immersive, interactive ways to bring their content to life
  • Innovate presentation material, presenting alternative methods other than PowerPoint
  • Ensure accessibility is at the forefront of all developed collateral, where necessary bringing in tools/software add-ons to support.

Team Support & Development:

  • Introduce and train teams on new tools, with testing supported by Bid/Design teams
  • Provide training & development to wider team colleagues re best implementation/use of graphics for maximum impact within pitch/client facing collateral
  • Maintain scheduling on Trello and liaise with Creative Studio Manager re timings required on projects. Deputise for Create Studio Manager during periods of absence

Skills & Experience:

Must haves

  • Experience working as part of a Bid/Pitch team in a leading Creative role
  • Expert practical skills within Microsoft PowerPoint, alongside a strong understanding of presentation design & document layout
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, and strong working knowledge of Illustrator
  • High levels of attention to detail with a focus on ‘getting it right first time, every time’
  • Demonstrable experience of working within creative teams to develop creative concepts and manage projects through to completion, alongside the ability to pro-actively guide and coach others
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to comply with all team processes and guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders

Nice to haves

  • Experience of working as part of a remote team
  • Experience of working with third party creative agencies
