Join Our Team as a Purchasing Manager!

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and supply chain management? Waters is seeking a dynamic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement activities and ensure operational excellence. This role is pivotal in supporting our Spares, Production, New Product Design, and overall spend in line with MRP.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Excellence: Manage procurement activities to meet build plans and best practices, ensuring price, quantity, and delivery standards.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee business relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and manage risks.
  • Cost Saving Initiatives: Drive cost-saving projects and support global procurement in achieving financial performance goals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure supply chain functions are productive and efficient by setting and measuring goals.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain master data accuracy for optimal material supply and inventory levels.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the purchasing team, setting objectives, monitoring progress, and supporting professional growth.
  • Inventory Management -Ensure Master Data integrity and accuracy. Management of raw material master data to ensure MRP system and processes can ensure adequate material supply and optimum inventory levels, through MOQ and Leadtime controls

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Business Studies or equivalent, IIPM Certification, APICS Certified, Lean Qualification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a high-complexity industrial organization, strong SAP expertise, and proven track record in negotiation and cost-saving projects.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both written and oral. Strong problem-solving capability and project management skills.
