Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team. Applicant MUST have completed the Greenwich Pulmonary Rehab Programme.
Specific Tasks
Under supervision and guidance of staff help:
• Encouraging patients to achieve the best they can from the sessions
• Assist patients where possible (both verbally and physically) with the tasks involved.
• Follow instructions from the qualified physiotherapist in charge of the session
• Having a good level of understanding of spoken and written English
• To respond appropriately to changes in group patients behaviour or condition and bring these to the immediate attention of the lead member of staff.

- Applicant must have a knowledge and understanding of patients with chronic lung disease

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
