Office location: Cardiff (This is an office based role, though some hybrid working will be possible.)
Lleoliad swyddfa: Caerdydd (Mae hon yn rôl swyddfa, er y bydd rhywfaint o weithio hybrid yn bosibl.)
Hiring range | Ystod cyflog: £45,000- 50,000
The Role | Y Rôl:
You will use your excellent interpersonal, communication and research skills to capitalise on the news and programmes we make in Wales - and the talented teams that make them - in order to project ITV's purpose and contribution to Welsh life to the widest possible range of stakeholders.
You will have experience of regulated environments and delivering a Public Affairs strategy, together with a comprehensive understanding of Welsh affairs and an up to date working knowledge of political environments.
To make a success of this role you will be personable, engaging and take a collaborative approach to getting things done. You will also have the presence and authority to successfully operate at a senior level and the ability to produce authoritative and practical advice and defend it if necessary.
You will be resourceful, and able to discern what activities will be the most effective in which to engage. You will also be used to being self-sufficient and delivering events with little support.
Your track record for diversity and inclusion will equip you with the contacts and vision to seek out and develop new and effective partnerships across the broadest possible range of organisations. You will also be working closely with the Public Affairs, Corporate Communications and Regulatory and Policy team in London.
You will also be asked to occasionally support colleagues at UTV in Northern Ireland with some key events.
Byddwch yn defnyddio eich sgiliau rhyngbersonol, cyfathrebu ac ymchwil rhagorol i fanteisio ar y newyddion a'r rhaglenni rydyn ni'n eu gwneud yng Nghymru - a'r timau talentog sy'n eu creu - er mwyn adrodd pwrpas a chyfraniad ITV i fywyd Cymru i'r ystod ehangaf posibl o randdeiliaid.
Bydd gennych brofiad o'r maes rheoleiddio ac o gyflawni strategaeth Materion Cyhoeddus, ynghyd â dealltwriaeth gynhwysfawr o faterion cyfoes Cymru a gwybodaeth gyfredol am y byd gwleidyddol.
Er mwyn sicrhau llwyddiant yn y rôl yma, bydd gennych sgiliau rhyngbersonol, ymgysylltiol a'r gallu i fabwysiadu dull gydweithredol o gyflawni pethau. Bydd gennych hefyd y presenoldeb a'r awdurdod i weithredu'n llwyddiannus ar lefel uwch a'r gallu i gynhyrchu cyngor awdurdodol ac ymarferol a'i amddiffyn os oes angen.
Byddwch yn ddyfeisgar, ac yn gallu canfod pa weithgareddau ymgyslltiol fydd fwyaf effeithiol. Byddwch hefyd wedi arfer bod yn hunangynhaliol ac yn gallu trefnu digwyddiadau heb fawr o gefnogaeth.
Bydd eich profiad yn y maes o amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant yn eich arfogi â'r cysylltiadau a'r weledigaeth i chwilio am bartneriaethau newydd ac effeithiol a'u datblygu ar draws yr ystod ehangaf bosibl o sefydliadau. Byddwch hefyd yn gweithio'n agos gyda'r tîm Materion Cyhoeddus, Cyfathrebu Corfforaethol, Rheoleiddio a Pholisi yn Llundain.
Gofynnir i chi hefyd gefnogi cydweithwyr yn UTV yng Ngogledd Iwerddon o bryd i'w gilydd gyda rhai digwyddiadau allweddol.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is at the heart of what we do at ITV Cymru Wales and we want to ensure we reflect our audience both on screen and in our workforce. ITV is for Everyone and we encourage applications from Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent people and People of Colour to apply for this role.
Newsrooms are busy and pressurised environments, involving live news production, which often requires colleagues to make quick decisions under pressure. We also need people who are able to use their initiative.
We need to test these abilities at the interview stage to understand how candidates will react when operating in a pressurised environment. This is a fundamental requirement of the role. We will always consider any request for reasonable adjustments as part of the interview process, for example sharing key themes when that is requested in connection with a neurodivergent condition, whilst still ensuring that we are able to test a candidate's ability to operate in the specific environment of a newsroom.
Closing date: Sunday 8th March
Interview Date: Monday 16th March
Please note the notice period for this role is three months (this will include any new contracts/ secondments)
