As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Proposition Development Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful energy solutions that drive real customer value and business growth.
We're seeking a dynamic and customer-centric individual who will lead the development of new propositions from initial concept through to successful implementation and performance management. In this role, you'll manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with delivery partners, and ensure our propositions align with our strategic objectives. Your expertise in project management and proven track record in developing customer-driven solutions will help us achieve our vision of a Net Zero future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic alignment: Ensure all proposition development is aligned with Good Energy's vision, strategic objectives, and market positioning.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of energy market trends, including Supply, Export, Flexibility, and Energy Services, and use this knowledge to inform proposition development. As well as having a clear understanding of Good Energy's market position, constraints and opportunities.
- Lifecycle management: Oversee propositions throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Go-to-market leadership: Develop and manage the launch of propositions, working to ensure successful customer adoption, delivering expected customer outcomes and financial returns.
- Stakeholder communication: Provide clear and timely updates on proposition performance to key stakeholders.
- Clear requirement management: Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and communicated to assigned owners.
- Risk & performance management: Maintain a record of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and ensure measurable success criteria are defined post-launch.
- Team leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, engagement, and high performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Use customer insights and data to iterate and improve propositions, ensuring they evolve to meet market needs and customer expectations.
Ways of Working:
- Customer-centric approach: Lead customer workshops and conduct interviews to identify and address customer needs effectively. Utilising this to form and test key hypotheses with customers to validate proposition and market fit are correct.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams to enhance customer personas based on ongoing research and insights.
- Proposition Innovation: Leverage proposition frameworks to identify opportunities and create multi-product solutions across supply, export, and services.
- Iterative testing: Adopt a test-and-learn approach to minimise risk and maximize proposition success.
- Data-driven decision making: Use both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions, ensuring propositions align with customer expectations and market needs.
- Agility & flexibility: Be prepared to pivot or discontinue propositions if they do not meet success criteria, maintaining a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
