Property Manager (Senior Surveyor)

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our Commercial Property and Asset Management team based within either our Oxford or London office on a fixed term contract for approximately 12 months. The post holder will be responsible for a varied portfolio and contribute to the growth of the firm's Commercial Property and Asset Management team in Oxford, while also helping to strength Carter Jonas' profile within this market. This role will suit someone looking for a new career challenge and with the desire to build client relations while ensuring the delivery of excellent service to all our clients. We are open to those who have various property management experience including chartered surveyors.

Main tasks:
- Collection of rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears
- Assisting with the preparation of service charge budgets and issue of certificates and additional invoices following service charge reconciliation.
- Dealing with rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Identifying and implementing asset management opportunities
- Administration of property insurance including apportionment of premiums, raising and issue of invoices
- Completing property inspections schedules,
- Liaising with clients, tenants and contractors.
- Providing accurate, timely client reports.
- Organising PPM, repair and maintenance work, including liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access and checking that works are completed.
- Using and assisting with the maintenance of records on the TRAMPS property management and accounting system and PRISM health and safety database.

What will it take to be successful?
We are seeking a hands on property manager who is ideally RICS chartered (although not essential) with good working knowledge of all relevant legislature including L&T Act 1954, L&T Cov. Act 1995. The post holder will have strong client management and communication skills and will have the ability to drive business initiatives forward in a confident and personable manner. The role involves frequent travel so a valid driving license is required.
