Property Litigation Senior Associate Solicitor

We are entering a further period of growth and require an ambitious Senior Associate to join our busy Property Litigation team on a full time, permanent basis and to be office based ideally, at least twice a week on 'Team Days'.
The team advise commercial and residential landlords and tenants, developers, landowners, property investors, property management companies and property occupiers on how to resolve commercial and residential property disputes quickly and efficiently. The team works closely with our Real Estate Group, which includes a dedicated Planning Team and our Construction team which deals with both contentious and non-contentious work.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a day to day workload of commercial and residential property dispute work with an emphasis on commercial property disputes as well as land and property disputes including possession and forfeiture, rent arrears, service charge disputes, dilapidations, breach of covenants, easements and boundary disputes across residential and commercial properties.
- Contribute to the development of the team business plan and take ownership for the delivery of assigned activities.
- Support key events to secure profitable new clients, cross sell opportunities and increase the Business's profile.
- Prepare and present seminars and/or issue articles on topical subjects.
- Ensure clients receive accurate, up-to-date legal advice that takes account of their circumstances and represents "value for money".
- Contribute to motivating colleagues to ensure they are engaged in achieving the Business's objectives.
- Provide coaching and training for individuals to maximise talent development.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
- Quickly immerse themselves in a varied and interesting workload of commercial and residential property work; with a commercial property disputes focus.
- They will be adaptable, enthusiastic, have a flexible approach and able to work under pressure both individually and as part of the team.
- Lead by example and motivate individuals to be bold, ambitious and achieve success. Highly self-aware and able to adapt approach to secure strong outcomes.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Business to maximise their potential and provide support.
