Job Description

Overview

Due to recent growth and our technology, we're growing our control tower team and looking for you to join us as our EyeQ Project Support Manager. You will be responsible for a part of a growing team working on the deployment and management of our digital marketplace. Enhancing and monitoring compliance standards, data input and cleansing, supporting our suppliers and customers. You will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders, to deploy and maintain Wincanton's platforms and digitise workflows.

How will you contribute?

• First line people management.
• To obtain the appropriate work instructions and arrange the work organisation with the team.
• Motivate and manage the team to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives. Effective management of resources.
• Conduct regular individual reviews and where necessary agree a performance improvement plan. Systemic compliance management for external suppliers and tracking.
• Data Entry. This can be a range from customers, hauliers, or internal data to the marketplace. Supporting internal and external suppliers with the debriefing process.
• General Transport back-office tasks management.

What will you bring?

• Previous first line management experience.
• Systemic process driven. Reporting and analytical skills.
• Confident communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft software such as Excel.
• Understanding of logistics and transport.
• Leading a team to be responsible for our digital marketplace and users.
