Project Quality Manager

Role Context:

As a Project Quality Manager at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for the implementation of the quality management systems strategy, exceeding customer expectations and aiding project execution, on time, to budget.. Collaborating closely with project teams and clients, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate a culture of quality excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll be:

  • Responsible for ensuring that a Project Quality Management System (QMS) has been established, implemented and continually improved to meet Project deliverables.
  • Acting as the Quality Focal Point for all matters relating to Quality Management, resources and development of Quality Personnel allocated to the Project.
  • Lead the development of Project objectives, targets and goals in alignment with Project deliverables and Worley requirements.
  • Management of the project risk based internal and external audit program. Ensuring robust quality audits are undertaken to identify areas for improvement, whilst managing non-conformance activities and follow up of corrective actions to ensure effective implementation
  • The Quality Focal point for all Customer matters relating to Project Quality Management
  • Leading the projects "Right First Time" Quality Initiatives whilst promoting the RFT culture throughout the delivery team

You'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Registered ISO Lead Auditor, Member/Associate of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)).
  • Proven experience within a Quality Managers position, preferably within the Oil and Gas Industry, managing project quality throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), industry codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
  • Proficient in conducting quality audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles and the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
