Job Title: Project Professional – Delivery

Location: Barrow-In-Furness – On-site

Salary: Circa £37,000+ depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operate on project management processes while supporting senior staff on the larger project
  • Work on daily management tasks for the project, and under guidance and supervision in more complex situations
  • Assist in project reporting and scheduling tasks and objectives to keep the project on schedule
  • Query resolution of basic and routine problems to mitigate schedule delays
  • Gathering data, budget reports and information from various sources and collating this for senior staff
  • Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets, Microsoft package usage and minute taking in meetings

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Demonstrable Project Controls and Reporting experience
  • Experience in Project planning processes and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Projects and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Understanding of industrial facilities and construction environments
  • Experience presenting information and reports to stakeholders

The Site Facilities Major Projects Team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team in the Major Projects team within Site and Facilities department. This role offers a wide range of exposure to different teams across the Barrow site, whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function and work across various functions.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
