Project Manager - water/utilities

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Project Manager for a role with utilities contractor working on utilities diversions for water mains on HS2 in Brackley/Aylesbury.

The role of the Project Manager is to assist the Company Director in meeting the expectations & requirements of our customers and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Your role will also require you to understand the contractual issues specific to the projects employed on.

Responsibilities:

To review all contracts/projects to ensure that the Company and clients requirements and expectations are fully identified, agreed and understood.
To understand the construction programme, key dates and milestones and resource requirements for individual projects/contracts.
To organise works for the teams reporting on a daily basis to ensure the Company and clients requirements are met.
Comply with the requirements of the company Integrated Management System with regards to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.
To report to the Contract Manager project/contract performance, particularly with regard to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.
To investigate and report all accidents as required under RIDDOR and as company procedures.
To investigate and report all utility damages as per Company procedures and all third party claims received as per Company procedures.
The generation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and CDM Plans with assistance from the Head of SHEQ.
To carry out site inspections on a regular basis and take action to ensure all sites comply with current legislations.

Experience/qualifications:

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 - Supervisor Street works.
Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
CSCS/EUSR Card specific to the contract they are employed on.
First Aid.
Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the utility sector with experience of managing Electrical/ Civils projects.
