Project Manager - Aylesbury

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Project Manager to cover a water-based project over Aylesbury on HS2.

The ideal candidate for this role would have experience of overseeing the planning and delivery of the project, ensuring it meets all timelines, budget deadlines, and regulatory needs. They should have experience in managing stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and team coordination to ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the project plan, ensuring that all phases of the water-based project are executed on time, in scope, and in budget.

Engage with key stakeholders, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with project goals and smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to environmental impacts and water management, ensuring compliance with HS2 standards and regulations.
• Manage the project budget and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of labour, materials, and equipment to meet project objectives.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with quality standards, design specifications, and environmental regulations, particularly concerning water management and sustainability.
• Lead and coordinate the project team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that all members are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or water-related projects, preferably within the rail or civil engineering sectors.
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management (or a related field).
• In-depth knowledge of UK construction regulations, environmental standards, and water management practices (particularly in the context of HS2 or similar infrastructure projects).
