Location: Solihull (onsite 5 days per week)

Rate: £45.25ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £34.20ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (31.3.26)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Job Description:

The GME Site Integration Team will provide hands on services and assist to our wider GME Technology Teams based onsite, ultimately to ensure effective planning, co-ordination, cross technology and cross functional integration of all projects to ensure successful delivery, on time, cost and quality in assisting our re-imagined product portfolio and Solihull site strategy.

The role will have responsibility for ensuring standardisation and efficiency of approach across all our technology teams to ensure all projects are following our GME guidelines, procedures and standards within a cohesive and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination and integration of site-based industrialisation projects across our GME technology areas.
  • Assistance with transition to agile with mindset, training and available toolsets.
  • Co-ordinate cross programme and cross technology project reviews.
  • Drive delivery of programme requirements within overall timing plan (VPP).
  • Lead technical and financial programme reviews i.e. gateway readiness, Launch Cadence, Agile Showcases, QRB's, Executive reviews Including Process Chains and Launch Readiness Reviews.
  • Leadership of continuous improvement and standardisation activities across our Manufacturing Technologies and Plant teams.
  • Report manufacturing inputs and alignment on capital investment.
  • Host and lead cross functional reviews to address programme issues, using appropriate issue management tools (i.e. Obstacle boards or AIM).
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership and Customer First Principals to create a positive working atmosphere.
  • Be the 'voice of manufacturing' in senior forums to lead by example.
  • Actively seek to align cross technology, cross functional programme and or project dependencies.
  • Support in establishing a site integration meeting cadence aligned to and with existing technology and programme cadence.
  • Work with key Stakeholders to identify and track implementation of GME technology requirements for Industrialisation Projects.
  • Represent GME at IOPD Lead Programme reviews where necessary.

Essential:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Project or Programme Management experience (PCDS Awareness).
  • Manufacturing Background.
  • Effective Stakeholder Management (Cross Functional).
  • Experience with change control and financial control.
  • Schedule Management (Project or P6 Oracle).
  • Agile Competence.

Desirable:

  • Effective Communicator (All Management Levels).
  • Negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Experience of preparing and writing business cases.
