Job title: Project Manager – PMO

Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the Programme Management Office, ensuring alignment of functional support across the programme.
- Manage and report measurement of performance against the metrics set out by the Customer and by the business
- Manage the production of progress & project reports in line with Customer, business reporting cycle
- Lead the development and maintenance of a coherent project schedule and performance management baseline
- Management and reporting of contract deliverables
- Organisation and management of inputs and outputs of Customer contract management meetings
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Very strong understanding and experience of Project Management techniques including: resource planning & management; cost capture, analysis & forecasting; schedule planning & tracking (including EVM); Schedule Risk Analysis; Risk & Opportunity management, change management
- Strong horizontal and vertical stakeholder management skills
- Experience of management and leadership across multifunction, geographically disperse teams, with and without direct line management
- Able to collate, analyse and act upon complex and diverse information from a variety of sources and produce good quality management data for senior level decision making
Desirable:
- Experience of support or service based contracts
- Experience working with the Ministry of Defence
- Recognised Project Management qualification

RECODE Project Team:
The RECODE programme is an in-service support contract delivering an evolved, scalable, modular and open Combat Management System (CMS), a refreshed Shared Infrastructure (SI), Networks and Training Systems, together with maintaining existing in-service CMS, SI, Networks and Training Systems across the Royal Navy surface platforms and shore bases. It provides a number of support services to deliver equipment availability, field support, obsolescence management, technology services, project management and integrated logistics support.
