Project Manager - Operations

Role Context

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of our Operations Centre building. The ideal candidate will manage the delivery of the Operations Centre inc. land purchase, TCPA, Architectural design, system integration. Operations building - working with building control offices, architects and getting package moving forward. Working alongside the Senior Project Manager System and Ops, this role focuses more on the building element. The individual is expected to have similar experience and is able to drive the development of this package forward to EPC definition.

You'll be

  • Leading and manage the delivery of the Ops Centre build, ensuring alignment with the broader Operations and Systems requirements.
  • Engaging heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels.
  • Collaborating with data architects, local authorities, building control and Senior Project Manager Operations and Systems and associated network teams.
  • Driving the development of the Ops Centre package from initial philosophy through to EPC definition.
  • Ensuring alignment with supply chain and schedule control.
  • Adopting a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges.

You'll have

  • Proven experience in managing operations centres or similar assets.
  • A demonstratable ability to interface with senior leadership and board members.
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain.
  • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including data architects, local authorities, building control etc.
  • The Ability to drive project development from concept to execution.
  • A hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Technical proficiency in control centre development.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
