Project Manager - Operational Resilience

We have a 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity to join the Operational Resilience team as a Project Manager focussed on the European Union's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements. This is a hybrid role combining working from our Guildford office (2 days per week) with working from home.

About the Role

You will work collaboratively with sponsors, stakeholders and those involved in the delivery of DORA in the business to ensure that regulatory commitments relating to DORA are entrenched across the business to meet 2025 requirements. You will lead the programme, role modelling our values, while partnering with your sponsors and senior stakeholders. You will have an agile mind-set and be an expert in your field and a servant leader, coaching and guiding colleagues to ensure delivery is value and outcome based. We'll expect you to lead by example, live and practice agile values and principles while putting our customers and value delivery at the heart of all you do.

About You

Experience and Skills

  • Experience delivering successful implementation of activities to meet regulatory requirements
  • Experience within various industries but specifically Financial Services that have been subject to operational resilience regulated requirements.
  • Experience within project and change delivery, having delivered a variety of projects or programmes of different types and sizes
  • Excellent understanding of change management and implementing people, process and systems change
  • Act as a leader and role model fostering excellent team spirit in the team, providing vision and purpose for the delivery and aligning/defining roles and responsibilities if needed.
  • Forward thinking with experience in planning, and the ability to understand and manage risk proactively
  • Demonstrative experience of problem solving and removing impediments
  • Exemplary stakeholder management with previous experience of effectively managing stakeholders up to and including Board
  • Demonstratable experience of writing clear and precise Board level papers
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Have a Growth Mind-set with process improvement ability, focused on continuous improvement
  • Project, Agile or Change management qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
