Project Manager-New Business Intake 18 month FTC

As a Project Manager, you will provide exceptional client service to a forward-thinking law firm and be an integral part of the New Business Intake Project Team. You will be responsible for the planning, designing, and implementation of the Intapp Conflicts and Intake solution. This is an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.

About the role

This important role is key in "making working life easier" for stakeholders across CMS, focussing on the needs and requirements of the customer and ensuring successful completion across the project lifecycle. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop detailed project plans to design, build, and implement the solution.
  • Meet with stakeholders at all levels to identify project requirements, delivery timelines, and costs.
  • Identify and assign project tasks to the Project Team and other stakeholders.
  • Encourage collaborative working.
  • Ensure that the solution is integrated into existing systems and is adopted into the processes for the business and business support teams.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery.
  • Compile and submit project status reports to the PMO, Project Team, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage costs and keep track of all costs attributed to the project.
  • Manage the delivery tasks from suppliers to time, quality and cost, by liaising with the relevant internal and externa stakeholders.
  • Manage the project within a wider programme and portfolio of change across the business identifying and managing dependencies where appropriate.

  • Experience and knowledge of every aspect of the project lifecycle through waterfall and agile techniques.
  • Experience in initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing, and risk mitigating.
  • Proven experience of a new business intake implementation within the legal or professional services sector environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with an autonomous mindset yet recognises the need for management guidance where necessary.
  • Excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with multiple external supplier stakeholders and manging contracts.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and the capacity to pick up additional responsibilities quickly and efficiently when required.
  • Ability to motivate and develop others within the constraints of projects.
