JOB SUMMARY

Are you looking for a Project Manager role with a difference and want to play your part in keeping our armed forces safe? If so, you may have found the role you have been looking for!

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of vehicle build, integration and delivery of vehicles and support services for the Defence/Military Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) Business Unit.

Please note: This is a 6 to 12 month contract with possibility of permanency.

The role will include the management of projects across the Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares business but will have specific focus on the Light Troop Transport Vehicles (LTTV) and Rapid Reaction Vehicles (RRV) contracts that were awarded to NP Aerospace by the Belgium MOD. These contracts involve the management of vehicle build, integration and delivery of vehicles and technical services in support of the LTTV contract and management of provision of technical services in support of the RRV contract.

Due to the technical nature of the LTTV and RRV programmes - and similarly the complex subject matter covered by projects across the business, the successful Project Manager will have formal technical/engineering qualifications and will have demonstrable experience of successfully leading the delivery of technically-focused projects and ideally have experience in managing successful production lines.
