JOB SUMMARY

Are you looking for a Project Manager role with a difference and want to play your part in keeping our armed forces safe? If so, you may have found the role you have been looking for!

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of projects supporting the delivery of taskings for the Defence/Military Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) Business Unit in the area of Protected Mobility Programmes.

The role will include the management of projects across the Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares business but will have specific focus on the Protected Mobility Engineering and Technical Support (PMETS) contract that was awarded to NP Aerospace by UK MOD. This contract involves the delivery of technical services in support of the Cougar, Foxhound, and HMTV Protected Mobility platforms, and the role will be to manage several of the 'Non-Core' projects raised under the framework. The scope of the projects will vary; including but not limited to the design of platform modifications to address safety, legislative, or capability deficiencies.

Due to the technical nature of the PMETS programme - and similarly the complex subject matter covered by projects across the business, the successful Project Manager will have formal technical/engineering qualifications and will have demonstrable experience of successfully leading the delivery of technically-focused projects.
