Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to support across an IT portfolio consisting of both Infrastructure and Digital Transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing these projects, ensuring they align with the strategic goals, and delivering them on time and within budget. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of driving project success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, able to excel in multiple project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid. Our environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative!

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to plan and adjust as necessary.
  • Oversee a IT portfolio projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project success.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide regular status reports.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately and expenditures are tracked accurately.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deliverables are completed to the highest standards.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Assess current infrastructure, develop migration strategies, and oversee the implementation of new systems.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
  • An additional course or certification in Business Consulting, Project management (waterfall, agile)
  • Additional Technical Certifications: Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2

Essential skills

  • Cross-skilled across both IT Infrastructure and Software Development domains, bringing a good understanding of:
    • IT infrastructure: new office IT mobilisation, SDWAN network upgrades /LAN extension/Network technology (WLAN).
    • Digital Transformation: Software development, system integration, and migration.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Experience

  • Experience in leading large scale transformation programs, involving business process and change, organization change, and multiple large-scale technology components.
  • Experience as project manager, project manager, scrum master, scrum coach, or delivery lead.
  • Experience delivering diverse and large-scale projects in a large enterprise-scale environment.
  • Experience working with technical teams, architecture, and 3rd party suppliers/providers.
  • Project management lifecycle and experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle (concept to launch)
  • Applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solving problems
  • Providing technical guidance to enable others and solving technical queries from junior colleagues
  • Using project management tools, tracking plans and actual statistics from inception through to implementation
