YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

As a Principal / Associate Project Manager within Intelligent Infrastructure, you will support our clients in achieving successful and efficient project delivery. You will drive excellent in project leadership, working closely with the client team and occasionally as outsourced consultancy teams. Our projects span a diverse range and challenges, ensuring you will always be engaged and growing.

As a Principal/Associate Project Manager you will:

  • Take ownership for the successful delivery of projects, by providing leadership, clear communication, risk management, planning, and progress monitoring, and implementing project controls.
  • Build effective client relationships by understanding their needs and acting as a trusted advisor to achieve their objectives.
  • Optimising the resource balance, across the programme, and ensuring all deliverables and milestones are achieved on time and to the right quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders both internal and external to identify solutions, share best practice and to drive the best outcomes for your projects and other projects across the programme.
  • Support business growth in securing more work, through leading successful tenders and technical submissions.
  • Acting as a role model and mentor for other project management staff within the wider business

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Excellent ability to lead, coordinate and manage large multi-disciplinary design teams to consistently deliver successful complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading or working as part of a high performing team, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Experience working either as a client, consultant or contractor, ideally within a transport, public sector, or high-risk environment.
  • Understanding and experience of delivering projects within a structured project control process.
  • Hold or working towards a relevant project management qualification, e.g. APM-PMQ.
  • Individual full membership of the APM (or equivalent professional project management body).
  • Hold a degree, or similar higher education qualification.
