Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the Health sector to join our London Real Estate team, focusing on minor works. You will be instrumental in delivering top-tier project management services throughout the project lifecycle, particularly in leading and executing small to medium-sized projects. This role is a unique chance to spearhead minor works within our esteemed Health and Education Division and to cultivate a thriving career.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and allocate resources for minor works, employing suitable tools and techniques.
- Direct and oversee the project team, assigning tasks and clarifying roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and navigate risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Guarantee timely and budget-conscious delivery of minor works, adhering to established project management methodologies and standards.
- Foster and maintain stakeholder relationships, ensuring robust communication and involvement.
- Track and communicate progress of minor works, utilizing relevant metrics and indicators.
- Assess the impact and value of the completed works, using evidence-based evaluation methods.
Qualifications
- Internationally recognized post-graduate project management qualification.
- Degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
- Experience with minor works in Health projects, such as refurbishments or extensions in hospitals, clinics, or research facilities.
- Proficiency in contract administration, particularly with NEC3/NEC4 contracts for minor works.
- Commercial awareness, with the skill to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with the UK Department of Health and Social Care's guidelines for minor works.
