Full time/Fixed-term contract for 24 months
About the Role
We are seeking a capable and proactive Project Manager to support the GREEN+ Network Plus , a new EPSRC-funded national network that brings together researchers, green space providers, healthcare professionals, and technology developers. GREEN+ explores how pervasive, AI-enabled technologies-such as wearables, mobile sensing, and edge AI, can support wellbeing through smart, energy-efficient green environments.
These include zoos, parks, farms, botanic gardens, and community green spaces.
The network will build a UK-wide community of researchers and practitioners committed to designing inclusive, affordable, and sustainable technologies for health, activity, and social connectedness. It will connect engineering, computing, digital health, and environmental design with industry and public sector partners.
The Project Manager will coordinate all operational aspects of the network. You will work closely with the Network Lead Professor Eiman Kanjo at Nottingham Trent University, the Co-lead at the University of Edinburgh, and a growing national and international consortium. You will also work with other team members working on relevant UKRI projects and another EPSRC network.
This is an in-person post based in Nottingham. It involves collaboration with other EPSRC-funded networks and international partners. The role requires regular travel across the UK and abroad to support workshops, sandpits, and events.
