The Endpoint and Data Security Analyst is responsible for helping support the infrastructure security services for Deloitte UK, Switzerland and Gibraltar. This includes working with security vendors which are external and internal, such as Deloitte Global Technology Services (GTS), who supply several services that we consume. The Endpoint and Data Security Analysts remit encompasses the core security services such as internal and external Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms.

Include specific responsibilities:

  • As part of the infrastructure security team you will be expected to ensure that all relevant procedural documentation is in place and up to date
  • Ensuring all ticketing enquiries are actioned and followed up to ensure the firm is not put at risk
  • Ensuring all system changes are thoroughly planned and implemented appropriately
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure our services are working at peak efficiency
  • Maintain technical knowledge and certifications
  • Assist with security investigations
  • Responsible for becoming an SME on all our security platforms
  • Assist with client audits / Compliance obligations and evidence gathering
  • Work as part of the 24x7 on call rota, once suitably trained (additional payment)

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in an Infrastructure Security role or similar
  • Experience of logically and methodically troubleshooting complex problems alone
  • Able to effectively communicate technical issues to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Exposure and awareness to an array of cybersecurity
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
  • A thorough understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Experience recording and maintaining incident & requests within a ticketing system
  • Working knowledge of consuming services from Vendors

Desirable

  • Certified in the cybersecurity space i.e. CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP
  • Certified in core technologies such in respect of Windows and MacOS
  • Previous experience as a Proxy Specialist or in a similar role
  • Experience working with Certificate Authorities.
  • Managed a third-party vendor, especially in the consumption of IT/security services
