Salary: Starting from £70,865 with executive car allowance on top

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ownership and maintenance of the Dreadnought Configuration Management Plan and the Product Design Change and Concession processes

  • Applying Configuration Management (CM) governance to develop and operate project processes and toolsets, including the approval of CM rulesets and strategies at the project level

  • Undertaking CM audits to ensure process adherence and data quality

  • Providing Configuration Status Accounting reports on project baselines, design changes, and concessions

  • Management and development of the Wholeboat Configuration Management team to ensure CM capability is delivered

  • Working closely with Alliance, Assurance agencies and Project Management function to ensure objectives are met

Your skills and experience:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the 5 areas of Configuration Management across the product lifecycle

  • Management level understanding of Configuration Data systems, tools and governance protocols for Complex defence products

  • Configuration Management certification (e.g. NDI and CNII) or equivalent experience

The Wholeboat Configuration Management Team:

This is a niche, Subject Matter Expert (SME) role offering excellent exposure to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be part of an established team working on a complex, high-profile project, with clear opportunities for progression and continued professional growth. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
