The Role
An opportunity has arisen for the role of a Project Manager Assistant at ALS Environmental in Tile Hill, Coventry.

As a Project Manager Assistant, you will be required to provide daily administration support to the Field Services Project Managers and liaising where required directly with customers and internal departments.

Days Per Week: Monday - Friday
Contract: Full Time & Permanent (Part-Time applicants will be considered with salary pro-rated based on hours)
Annual Salary: £22,903 per annum

The day to day

  • Monitoring sample registration documents to confirm all information is correct.
  • Monitor the sampling plan to ensure schedule is adhered to and notify staff when not.
  • Distributing sample bottles, supplies and paperwork to sampling staff.
  • Managing consumables levels for the department.
  • Undertake site bookings on behalf of samplers.
  • Input of field data.
  • Support with management of vehicle maintenance.
  • Updating of site documents using information sent through from the samplers.
  • Support the Project Managers with the scheduling of sampler's activity.
  • Booking on courier collections for remote samplers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries to provide a speedy and thorough resolution to customer issues and problems.

The Essentials

  • Customer service experience within a commercial organisation, ideally within a similar environment
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills both written & verbally
  • Professional and flexible approach to work with a firm focus on the customer
  • Experience with working with various IT systems including MS Office
