We are looking for a Project Manager Assistant with excellent organisation and management skills who has experience in construction and / or engineering arena and can show their capabilities in what they have delivered. Someone that can demonstrate drive and the ability to motivate others, someone who is adaptable to change and keen to add value in this key sector for us. You should be able to clearly demonstrate their ability to deal with our customers be it through project leadership or business development, client facing skill are a key consideration.
You will have the opportunity to support a team of engineers across a number of projects, locations and ventures. You'll be part of a dynamic, agile, forward-thinking team of individuals that are looking significantly to grow the business and the division's portfolio and reach
Primary Responsibilities
- Working in conjunction with the Project Director / Manager, ensure projects are delivered technically correct and on time, whilst maintaining the target profit level.
- Attend/Maintain regular contact and meetings with Project Directors and clients to build/foster relationship.
- Manage and control internal and third party resources on projects.
- Ensure all key project design deadlines are met per scope and budget.
- Ensure technical compliance and quality production of all deliverables.
- Record any changes of scope, which may affect fee basis and advise leadership.
- Assist other Project Directors in Project Delivery as required.
- Carry out third party design audit's as necessary.
- Work with Project Director to review on a monthly basis the Project Job Costing Reports.
- Supporting Project Directors / Managers and leadership with the following:
- Reviewing/Assist with Contract Documentation Monitoring
- Coordinating Project Documentation
- Participate & Organise Project Team Meetings
- Maintaining Project Calendars and Tasks
- Facilitating Communications with Project Teams and Consultants
- Basic Project Accounting
- Day-to Day Project related administrative tasks
- Project Close-Out Support
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and proven experience running a design engineering team(s)
- Minimum of 5yrs experience in Project Management within engineering or construction industry or a design consultancy.
- Experience within the Datacentre industry is highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of construction projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
