Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Lofthouse, United Kingdom. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering complex projects within our organisation, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets • Coordinate and allocate resources effectively across various project stages • Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project delivery • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management • Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other external partners • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in infrastructure or utilities projects • HNC/HND or degree in a construction/engineering discipline, or equivalent experience • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable • Strong organisational and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders • Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and reporting tools • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, resources, and risks • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices • Ability to interpret technical information, including construction drawings and specifications
  • CSCS card (Managers/Professionals level) is preferred • SSSTS or SMSTS certification is desirable • Full UK driving licence • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
