Job title: Project Manager – Construction

Salary: Circa £42,000
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the planning and implementation of small to medium scale Construction and Facilities projects ensuring that both the stakeholder and business requirements are met
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, objectives and deliverables ensuring technical feasibility
- Controlling and monitoring projects so that they are delivered to the agreed, time, cost and quality requirements including regular reviewing and reporting of project performance
- Lead and manage multi-disciplined project teams and maintain key relationships with project sponsors, team members, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for controlling & reporting against all commercial and financial aspects of projects from concept to completion
- Ensuring a safety focused approach to project delivery with responsibility for compliance with relevant health & safety duties including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Experience of project delivery in a similar role in the facilities, building services or construction related industries

Knowledge and practical application of project management tools and techniques and the ability to manage budgets and interpret financial information

Ability to apply good project governance
Desirable:

It would be advantageous to possess, or be working towards a formal project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or similar)

SHE qualification desirable e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent

The Shared Services Real Estate & Infrastructure team:
As Project Manager you will work alongside our real estate and facilities teams and have overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of a portfolio of projects ensuring scope, plans, resources, and budgets are aligned to deliver project success.
