The roleWe are looking for someone with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. We need someone who can develop an understanding of ITV's strategy, objectives, its operating businesses and ways of working. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing technical projects across a range of cross functional teams within ITV's Streaming Technology department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain project plans and capacity tracking
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies
- Help build trust and transparency within project teams by promoting a collaborative and communicative environment
- Facilitate regular team and cross-team events to help track and manage projects
- Work with the project team and stakeholders to ensure transparent goals and priorities
- Communicate project status to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Manage project resources, including team members, contractors, and third-party suppliers
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within planned capacity, and to the required quality standards
- Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the way projects are managed and ways of working
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
- Experience of Agile and Prince2 / APMP methodologies and frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Experience in online, media, broadcast industry is an advantage
- Experience working with third parties (external suppliers)
- Experience in managing budgets & forecasting/actuals
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder demands.
- Capable of managing work and risks/dependencies across multiple internal and external partner teams
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills
