We currently have an opportunity available for a Project Manager in Wastewater Services to join our team working in Exeter. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary of between £53,915 - £59,905 per annum plus benefits.
About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver sustainable change in a fast pace environment. The Project Manager will manage the end to end project life cycle from engaging with stakeholders to identifying, assessing and prioritising opportunities for improvements, securing funding/resources, and implementing the change to deliver tangible and sustainable benefits. The role will require delivering a variety of projects and initiatives encompassing predominantly business, people and technology changes. The role will also play a key role in supporting a continual improvement culture across the organisation by demonstrating exemplar project and change management approaches and supporting and coaching others.
What you'll be doing:
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and performance, and reduce costs.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget using best practice project management techniques.
- Change Management: Using best practice change management approaches to implement change, creating a positive experience for staff, and ensuring staff adapt to changes to achieve tangible and sustainable benefits.
- Business Analysis: Analyse the 'as is' including business processes and operational performance and data to identify root causes of issues and areas for improvement. Researching and bench marking to identify innovative solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Governance and Reporting: Ensure effective project governance, ensure compliance with working standards, and prepare detailed reports on project outcomes and performance metrics.
- Homesafe: Ensuring that our people get home safe every day. To create a team that strives to ensure that there are no serious incidents or lost time injuries by creating an environment that puts safety first.
