The Policy, Projects and Performance team plays a crucial role within the Deputy Chief Executive Office in shaping, delivering and evaluating key initiative that drive forward our strategic priorities and supports the council in delivering high quality services to residents, businesses and visitors.
As Project Manager, you will:
- report to the Project Delivery Lead and work closely with both the Head of Service and wider team
- be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a range of projects across the council
- play a key role in all stages of a project lifecycle from initiation, scoping, delivery and close-out
- support and monitor progress on projects that enhance service delivery, working across departments and with external partners to drive innovation and efficiency.
What you will need:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering projects in a complex environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to keep projects on-track.
- Strong research, analysis and evaluation skills with the ability to assimilate complex information to help support decision making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Proactive and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
