Join Our Team as a Project Manager at Dyer & Butler!
We're looking for skilled Project Managers to join our Southern CP7 Framework Team, with positions available in London, the South East, and the South West.
About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you'll lead the full delivery of projects from the planning stages through to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and within budget. You'll take charge of on-site activities, coordinate with various teams, and manage client expectations, all while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee project delivery to meet goals on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Lead and support your team, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to succeed.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
- Ensure all aspects of the project comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Take responsibility for financial forecasting, cost management, and contract negotiations.
- Implement change management processes and make sure contract adjustments are agreed upon with clients.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other teams to plan the project, track progress, and manage materials.
- Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up to date.
- Step in to manage site operations when needed, acting as Site Manager.
- Represent the company at industry forums and act as a positive ambassador for Dyer & Butler.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing complex construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, contracts (NEC, ICE, JCT), and project management software (MSP or P6).
- Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support your team.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection.
- The ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- A desire for continuous improvement and personal development.
