Job Description
Reporting into one of the Senior PMs, this candidate will be responsible for interrogating briefs and requirements, mapping out project timings and plans, working with people from across the department and business and leading the project team in delivering the end campaign.
You will also be expected to lead by example in how you set up projects, use an in-house project management and collaboration tool, assess and book resource, communicate with wider and senior stakeholders, adapt and improve processes and share project and process learnings. There may be the opportunity to have a Junior PM as a direct report.
The Details
- The day to day coordination and delivery of multi-channel global content, including promotional, campaign and partner brand activity, delivered by working with commercial, editorial, creative, content, marketing, talent, PR, CRM and social teams.
- Creating project plans for medium and longer lead projects using resource information, and managing projects based on this
- Setting up roles and responsibility documents and ensuring these are agreed amongst key stakeholders and clearly communicated and actioned
- Ensure effective use of budget (where required) and creative resource
- Communicating plans to project teams clearly and effectively
- Managing the approval process, and escalating if support is required
- Troubleshooting issues, escalating when required and working with the Senior PMs on adapting and improving processes to avoid future issues
- Using our internal project management tool to manage and deliver all projects, book resource and communicate project information
- Striving to constantly improve planning, processes and procedures required to deliver content and make recommendations to senior members of the team, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level

Qualifications
About You
- Substantial previous experience working in house or at an agency delivering digital creative marketing campaigns; ideally for a global business, where there are set processes in place
- Experience working directly with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Although the team requirements and objectives are very clear, this role needs to be flexible and versatile, to adapt to the type of projects and workload that may arise as the business requirements evolve. At ASOS there is the opportunity to develop roles further to suit departmental and business needs, meaning that the right candidate will proactively think about how this role can grow and potential opportunities that may arise.
- Proven experience of working within a team, and a desire to continue to do so. ASOS is full of talented people, experts in their field. An important part of your job, especially at the beginning, will be building relationships between the different teams within HQ and local offices
- A strong understanding of web, digital and creative with excellent time management skills and an ability to drive a project forward to ensure it meets its deadlines
- Experience managing a range of production dependencies across a wide range of platforms e.g. Mobile, desktop, email, display advertising, social, apps whilst communicating effectively with a wide team with varying skill sets, to deliver content.
- Exceptional at multitasking and thrive in a fast paced environment. The ability to multitask and deliver a range of different assets, at different times, or all at once, is essential
- An understanding or previous experience with project management tools or content management systems is desirable. This role will work very closely with the content managers and will include some interaction with our CMS as well as using our in-house project management and collaboration tool Wrike
