Gunnebo Entrance Control is looking for a Project Manager to join the team.
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, executing, and overseeing Gunnebo projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will mainly cover the West Country, including South Wales, Devon, and also the Reading area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline to the required level.
- Identify and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Create and maintain project schedules and track progress.
- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment with all necessary stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs, control expenses, and ensure adherence to the budget, implementing cost saving measures where necessary.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Address any unforeseen issues or delays promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality control and ensure that all work meets required standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, sales team, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or related industry with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of installation of Gunnebo and/or Other Equipment Manufacturer products is beneficial.
- Fully conversant with current Gunnebo H&S Policy and relevant legislation.
- Minimum of 3 years site-based experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Current SMSTS
- SC or CTC Clearance
- UK Passport Holder
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficient in use of Project Management Software (Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience of other Security/Access control systems and integration.
- Experience of other construction related trades in a related industry.
- Electrical knowledge or understanding.
- Ability to produce construction type drawings using CAD /AutoCAD or other similar applications.
