GENERAL SUMMARY

Overall responsible for execution of the project as specified in the contract.

Implement the overall project strategy which is to meet or exceed Client's overall objectives while maintaining goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the order handover from the Commercial function, facilitating Kick Off meetings to ensure functions have the best start to enable project on time delivery
• Defining the "As Sold" plan for the organisation and outline the baseline delivery plan
• Review and approve cost budgets
• Direct the work within the project organisation to fulfil contractual obligations
• Establish a cost-conscious attitude amongst the project participants
• Inform the project participants regularly about the work, schedule, and achievements
• Review and approve project milestone dates
• Performance and compliance monitoring
• Managing the Risk & Change processes ensuring functions assume ownership where necessary
• Report to Project Owner on all critical and important items
• Ensuring the Project is closed out effectively, finalizing all commercial aspects, facilitating a lesson learned session, collating and circulating feedback where required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good knowledge and competence within Project Management
• Excellent commercial and good contractual skills
• Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle

EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

• Operational experience within Project Management
• Experience in managing clients, partners, subcontractors, people and teams

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good communication and co-operation skills
• Solution and delivery orientated
