About the Role

Base Location:Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness

Salary:£47,600-£71,600 (depending on skills and experience) + performance related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern:Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

This role is within our SSEN Transmission Cyber Resilience for Operational Technology (CROT) programme team supporting our Digital Strategy and Vision to be a progressive network owner, using digital to enhance social and economic value, deliver a leading experience for our customers and to enable the energy system to support net zero carbon emissions.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading Cybersecurity technology projects and solution development to realise our NCSC CAF compliance roadmap. A vital part of the role is delivering the requirements and security risk reduction as per our stakeholder expectations.

As Project Manager, you'll be accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Cybersecurity Projects of work via multiple delivery teams using Waterfall best practice methodologies, ensuring effective control over costs and resourcing enabling the delivery of appropriate risk reduction.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Establish strong relationships with delivery teams and stakeholders.

- Manage technology, process, and capability solution delivery focusing on tangible business outcomes.

- Manage the delivery team across end-to-end product lifecycle to ensure that resultant systems/services deliver the specified outcomes, within budget and timescale.

- Ensure successful transition to service, ensuring change lands well and meets business needs.

- Help protect SSE from cyberattack and data loss by following standards and instructions and by reporting risks and incidents.

What do I need

To be successful in this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of leading, managing and delivering IT and/or OT Projects, demonstrating and meeting business value and outcomes.

- Experience in applying various waterfall (e.g. Prince2, APM, PMP) and Agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture across different levels of portfolio.

- Experience in stakeholder management and development of risk contingency plans.

- High-level planning aptitude, project cost accounting, and teamwork collaboration skills.

- Experience delivering value in a matrix organisation with logical information management.
