Job Introduction

The Project Manager will play a key role within the Customer Lifecycle Vertical which is one of the Bank's key strategic transformation areas. Recently mobilised, the initiatives within the vertical will provide a significant step change in customer experience, in particular through the standardisation, simplification and digital enablement of processes used to onboard, manage relationships and interact with customers.

We are now recruiting for a Project Manager, to deliver key customer onboarding capabilities, with experience in delivering Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, partner products and integration into legacy systems.

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of the solution through a combination of internal and third party resources and, through close working with senior stakeholders, ensure the delivery plan meets business needs and maximises customer value.

Prior experience of leading high-profile CRM projects within financial services is essential with experience of implementing Salesforce financial services cloud significantly preferred.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overall Project Management according to the Handelsbanken Project Management model
  • Guide project, technology and business resources through the project's lifecycle
  • Ensure that the solution follows the Bank's governance, architecture and security frameworks
  • Organise, plan and manage the project within the agreed framework
  • Have ongoing dialogues with the Head of Delivery, Head of Product Management and Head of Technology to report progress, escalate challenges and ensure delivery of a solution that provides business value
  • Formally hand over to the production and maintenance organisations.

  • Define the approach and lead the end-to-end delivery of the implementation
  • Work with senior stakeholders to ensure the project meets the Business Value Objectives
  • Ensure the team structure is suitable to deliver the programme based on agile working practices
  • Accountable for ensuring the approach to business implementation, including end user communications, training, data migration and business cutover is appropriate
  • Establish and operate the governance structures appropriate to the project size, complexity and criticality
  • Define and maintain the project plan, ensuring delivery remains on track, within-budget and in line with agreed scope
  • Deliver within project management controls including: Resource and financial management (forecasting and tracking), planning and dependency management, scope management (including change control and assessment, risk and issue management, clear roles, responsibilities and decision making authorities and establishment of design and delivery stage gates
  • Ensure delivery is in accordance with the Bank's change management methodology: all necessary documents and artefacts are in place, toll-gates are adhered to and clear auditability of key decisions made from start to finish
  • Build effective and positive relationships with project vendors and 3rd parties ensuring optimal ways of working and clear accountabilities
  • Understand business demand and lead the assessment of future work packages, including the creation of business cases where required
  • Support the build out and upskilling of the project team (either through recruitment and appointment of 3rd parties)
