About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for the production management and coordination of online and blended modules and programmes. Working with a diverse team made up of developers, designers, and media producers, you will lead the team to ensure that the content produced is delivered to agreed schedules and resources, and meets our quality standards.

You will forge strong relationships with your project teams, stakeholders in faculties and with partners external to King's, which will include providing excellent reporting and maintaining effective communication throughout the duration of each project.

You must be confident in establishing faculty relationships and getting up to speed with processes quickly and maintaining the high standards set.

You will be responsible for the quality of the product, from the start of the development process to its completion and delivery to students. You will ensure your project team(s) communicate effectively and have the required resources to perform at a high level.

This is a full time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. Experienced in project management practices and tools.
  2. Experience in collaboration and co-ordination of tasks across teams.
  3. Knowledge of digital production processes.
  4. Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage conflict, solve problems and create a positive working environment
  6. Skilled user of project management software e.g. MS Excel, ClickUp and able to learn and adapt to using new software quickly.
  7. Ability to create clear timelines, timeboxes, and report on risks and issues.
  8. Ability to use initiative and innovative thinking to adhere to delivery dates.
  9. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable criteria

  1. Educated to degree level.
  2. Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
  3. Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Google Products and communications tools (e.g. Slack)
