Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the migration of a current machine learning credit risk solution to a future SAAS (Cloud) credit risk solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex software migration projects, particularly within the financial services sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Oversee the full migration of the current machine learning credit risk solution to a new SAAS (Cloud) solution.
- Manage the enhancement and migration of credit rules.
- Ensure seamless API integration with existing systems.
- Lead unit, integration, and end-to-end testing efforts.
- Oversee the extraction of daily and monthly data files.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process.
- Plan and execute the decommissioning of the current solution.
- Ensure all legacy data and systems are properly archived or disposed of in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- An additional course or certification in Business Consulting, Project management (waterfall, agile)
- Additional Technical Certifications: Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2

- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing large-scale software migration projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and machine learning solutions.
- Experience with SAAS (Cloud) platforms and API integration.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
