Who we're looking for:

We're on the hunt for Project Managers to join BMD Infrastructure Services to lead your section of works to achieve nominated program and other performance outcomes for mulitple Nuclear and Defence projects in the Midlands, South West and North East England.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager / Project Director and your tasks will include:

  • Client / Consultant liaison
  • Implementation of Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Check and submit monthly claims and subcontractors statements
  • Organise / negotiate / confirm contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Attend and coordinate weekly / fortnightly site meetings
  • Identify and complete contract variations, extensions of time's and negotiations and ensure timeliness of contract maintenance
  • Establish cost and budget awareness with site Supervisor and conduct cost / tender analysis
  • Complete monthly valuations
  • Delegate activities to be completed by the project and site and graduate engineers

You will have:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering nuclear or defence projects highly advantageous
  • Commercial acumen and proven leadership capabilities
  • Display strong leadership to promote and maintain a safe, collaborative and positive team environment
  • A commitment to a high work standard and work ethic
